I’ve just been looking at the web stats for the month to date so far and early indications are that visitor numbers are going to increase once again this month.  It looks like visitor numbers will be up in the region of 14% on last month and the number of pages viewed will be up around 18% on last month. We continue to work hard in the background to improve the websites visibility and to bring prospective owners and breeders together.

In terms of SEO, a quick check on Google’s webmaster tools shows that this blog now has as high a pagerank as the homepage of the website (although it’s not apparant from looking at the pagerank in the Google toolbar as there hasn’t been a toolbar update for 160+days now).

With regards to work on the website, this month we’ve added the Visitor Map and also the European Bengal Breeder map. We’ve also been correcting one or two ‘undocumented featues’ aka errors which we’ve come across while checking through the website.

With the website now performing strongly in the .com versions of the search engines, our aim now is to increase our presence in localised verions of the search engines such as .ca, .ie .au etc which will  hopefully bring more international content to the website and as a result, further

enhance the visitor experience.
