Bengal Cat Breed Standards
The Bengal Cat is currently accepted for registration by most
Governing bodies / associations including:
- American Association of Cat Enthusiast's (AACE)
- American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA)
- Australian Cat Federation (ACF)
- Cat Fanciers Federation (CFF)
- Fédération Internationale Féline (FIFe)
- General Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF)
- New Zealand Cat Fancy (NZCF)
- Southern Africa Cat Council (SACC)
- The International Cat Association (TICA)
- World Cat Federation (WCF)
(At present The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) considers the Bengal a "wild cat," and does not accept
the breed for registration, or to be shown at CFA-sanctioned shows).
